Bringing
your number with you is simple. Firstly you need
to contact your current network provider i.e. the
network that you are on & ask them for a porting
authorisation code more commonly
known as a PAC code. You can bring any number with
you, whether it's a Pay-as-you-go number, Pay up
front or on a regular 12 month contract. Please
note that if you transfer a PAYG number, you will
lose any remaining credit that you had on it when
the transfer takes place.
In most circumstances (when
you have fulfilled your 12 month agreement) they
will give you the PAC number immediately & free
of charge. The only instances whereby they may wish
to charge you is if you are still within contract & need
to pay off the remainder of your line rental.
Once you have obtained your
PAC code you may proceed with your order. Choose
your preferred network, then choose the handset & the
tariff that suits you best & proceed as normal.
In the check out pages of our website, it shall ask
you if you are bringing your number & if so,
to enter your PAC code, the number that you are bringing
with you & the expiry date of the code (you are
given this date when you request the PAC initially).
When we receive your order,
we shall do one of two things dependent upon the
network you have selected (see below): |
