One of the most anticipated handsets of the moment - the HTC Dream

Why the hype ? Well, it's the first smartphone to operate on the new Android platform that's linux based and is part of an open-source initiative that has thousands of developers working on different applications that an Android phone can use. Google have tweaked this technology and have come up with a handset that will directly challenge the windows based smartphones from Microsoft and the iPhone from Apple - In other words, it's War !
