The Nokia 6600i Slide Black is the replacement model for the ageing 6600 Slide and offers several improvements over the older model internally and it is improved looks-wise too.
The camera is the most notable improvement and is now 5 megapixels camera which has a dual LED flash, 8X zoom and autofocus for that perfect picture. Video recording is also available at up to 640 x 480 pixels (VGA) and up to 15 frames per second. The old model was stuck with a far inferior 3.2 megapixel camera.
Another great new feature on the black Nokia 6600i Slide is the Tap function. You now have the ability to "tap" commands without even having the need to look at the phone. Discrete & yet intuitive tap commands can activate your display, snooze your alarm or silence the ringer - Nice !
Memory is expandable upto 16Gb so there is plenty of storage space for streamed video files, music files and photographs. An FM radio is also included so you can groove on the move to your favourite radio stations and DJ's.
The black 6600i covers virtually all bases on the features and applications front and as it runs on Nokia's acclaimed Series 40 software, it's super easy to just "pick up and use" without having to refer to the manual all the time.
