Samsung’s F520 forms part of their Ultra Special line up.
The F520 looks sure to be competing with the Apple iPhone in the race to roll-out touch screen technology in mobile devices. At this time the F520 has the advantage as it embraces 3G technology and offers faster downloads speeds. The Samsung F520 supports HSDPA, which offers data transfer rates of four times standard 3G, and many believe this essential for such a phone in the European market.
The menu navigation is icon based touch screen technology, but you also get a QWERTY keypad to facilitate typing messages, emails and documents, plus a numeric keypad for calling and entering phone book information. These two keypads work in the form of sliders, with the QWERTY keypad at the right side of the device and the numeric pad at the bottom.
The 3 inch screen can be viewed in both landscape and portrait modes which change as you tilt the phone from an upright to horizontal position - now that's neat!
And a 3 megapixel camera, music player, full internet browser and expandable memory make the F520 a rival for both the Apple iPhone and the LG PRADA. Supported Networks
