The latest touchscreen mobile phone Samsung Omnia i900 8GB has just about everything you could possibly want from a phone & looks set to be the hottest handset for 2008 without doubt.
It's got some tough competition with the likes of the Nokia N76 and the Apple iPhone 3g 16Gb but we think that pound for pound the Samsung Omnia pips both at the final post as it has the best combination of functions compared to it's rival models.
One of the most notable features of the Samsung SGH-i900 is the operating system it runs on, namely Microsoft Window Mobile 6.1 Professional. This is enhanced for finger use as opposed to using a stylus & has a large amount of third party software already available for it. Haptic technology which gives "feedback" through your fingertips on the large 3.2 inch display makes for a far superior "feel" to the phone and makes scrolling through the menu system an absolute joy.
With masses of memory available, the Samsung Omnia supports microSD & SDHC cards so you can literally download files, photos, videos and music for a very, very long time before you run out of available space. It supports just about every type of audio and video file and features TV output and an FM radio too - Cool!
The Omnia i900 excels in the photography department too as it has a 5Mp digital camera with autofocus, flash, image stabiliser, face recognition, red eye reduction and geotagging with a secondary video camera for 3G video calling.
With WiFi, Bluetooth & HSDPA theres no problem at all in hooking up the i900 to compatible devices and downloading data at broadband like speeds thanks to 3G technology. It also has aGPS so you can navigate your way step by step & never get lost again !
The 8GB Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia has everything - and so much much more too !
