"I first bought the Viewty-Lite (from tesco) as a replacement for my old Viewty, and at first I thought it was great. The touch screen was even better than before (you now really don’t need the stylus) the handset’s software is improved, and you don’t get an irritating beeping when texting. But the drawback is that the old LG software on my pc doesn’t support the new phone. And there’s no cd in the box. (And there’s no lead either, so if you don’t already have one you need to buy one) After much searching, I downloaded the latest LG PC Suite from the LG site, but still the message saying the ‘KU990i handset isn’t supported’ continued to appear. Two calls to LG provided no real help. And the Tesco technical support man told me he had the same phone, and couldn’t download photos either! So I returned the phone for a refund and then phoned LG to berate them; but this time I spoke to someone who knew the phone, and she explained a particular way of downloading the LG software, which should work with the lite. So I re-ordered the phone and tried again. It still took about four hours, including 45 mins on the phone to LG yet again, and eventually I managed to get the LG PC Suite II onto my laptop. And it works. (But searching the web I see there are lots of frustrated Viewty-Lite owners out there, unable to connect their phones to their computers. (LG really should have included a disk in the box.) "
