"I recently purchased the Samsung M110 Solid phone which was new into Tesco. In general I am satisfied that it performs much as expected...except for one glaring silliness! There is a currency converter application on this phone , but there is no conversion possible for either Sterling or American dollars!! When I queried this with Samsung customer services I was informed that the conversion was intended to be useful for interchange of values within countries currently using Euros and the UK does not qualify in these terms. I suggested that this was nonsense since it could reasonably be assumed that people from these countries would visit the UK from time to time and what are they supposed to do then? We are talking about a line of software..why wouldn't you include Sterling? You might think that if the phone is now being sold in the UK, then an upgrade could fairly easily be made available."
