Following on from the success of the original iPhone, Apple are back and better than before with the new Apple iPhone 3g 8Gb.

Addressing and correcting the short-comings of the first model , the iPhone 3g is sure to impress. It's not simply a 3g version of the original, it's a totally new model with improved hardware, software and a slightly revamped body.

3g allows the iPhone rapid access to the internet for super fast browsing, downloading and a whole lot more fun. In fact Apple are billing the handset as "Twice as fast & at half the price" as the iPhone 3g is also subsidised by the networks, unlike the original.

Another important new feature is the inclusion of advanced GPS so it can be used as a satellite navigation tool to find locations quickly and easily. Mapping applications come bundles with the phone itself.

The first iPhone suffered from poor battery life but this has now been sorted and the latest iPhone 3g has an impressive 10 hour talktime with a standby time of around 300 hours.

With a whole new iPhone 2.0 platform running within it, the iPhone 3g has more applications than before.
